Description
5mg Cagrilintide, 5mg Semaglutide
Additional Information
What is CagriSema?
CagriSema is a dual-incretin therapy combining Semaglutide (a GLP-1 receptor agonist) and Cagrilintide (an amylin analogue). It is used for effective weight management and appetite regulation. It is administered once weekly via subcutaneous injection using this prefilled multidose pen.
What GLP is it?
CagriSema combines two hormone analogues:
– GLP-1 (Semaglutide): Enhances insulin secretion, delays gastric emptying, reduces appetite.
– Amylin Receptor Agonist (Cagrilintide): Promotes satiety, reduces food intake, complements GLP-1 activity.
Together, they act synergistically to improve metabolic regulation and weight control.
Anabolic?
CagriSema is not an anabolic agent. While it does not directly build muscle mass, it supports metabolic efficiency and fat reduction, which may enhance body composition when combined with proper exercise and nutrition.
Active Ingredients
Each prefilled multidose pen contains:
– 5 mg Semaglutide
– 5 mg Cagrilintide
– Total: 10 mg
Benefits
– Dual-action on GLP-1 and amylin receptors for enhanced weight loss
– Strong appetite suppression and improved satiety
– Improved blood sugar regulation
– Once-weekly convenience
– May support lean mass retention during fat loss
Mixing Instructions
Prepare the Work Area:
Ensure a clean and sterile workspace.
Wipe down the bacteriostatic water vial and the peptide vial with alcohol wipes.
Reconstitute the Peptide:
Remove the protective cap from the Cagrisema 10mg vial.
Using a 2ml syringe with a long, thin needle, carefully draw 2ml of bacteriostatic water.
Insert the needle gently against the inside wall of the peptide vial and slowly inject the water drop by drop to avoid creating bubbles or excessive pressure. Please ensure you hold the plunger firmly to prevent fast water intake. The vial will quickly draw in the water due to the vacuum inside.
Once the water is fully added, do not shake the vial. Allow the powder to dissolve naturally. The solution is ready when fully clear.
Final Preparations:
Clean the vial exterior with an alcohol wipe.
The reconstituted solution is now ready for research purposes.
